Are you looking for a challenge in life?

Many people lack any real challenge in their life and want more.

Walking is perhaps the oldest and most loved of the so called "extreme" sports. It doesn't involve taking huge risks and most people only experience it at a basic level (Sunday stroll in the sunshine). However it can provide some of the greatest challenges of any sport.

For those starting out it is a low impact (better for the joints) way of getting some of the best exercise there is.

For the more experienced there is the challenge of pushing yourself beyond your normal limits.

Then for everyone there is the weather.

Good walking weather is mostly experienced in spring and autumn. Not too hot and yet the worst of the bad weather is not around (not always true of course).

Thick fog, mist and drizzle can provide a great navigation challenge where even familiar ground is a challenge to navigate around.

Snow and Ice provide obvious challenges.

But the real challenge comes in strong wind and heavy rain. The mental and physical challenges are unrivalled. Having to fight your way up a stepp hill when the wind wants to blow you off it and the rain is blowing straight in your face is tough.

If you want a challenge I can help you set goals of achievement and then help you work towards them. At the end I will award you with a certificate to prove that you have really achieved something big. You will be a stronger and fitter person at the end of it.
